Button head zip ties have a fixing head that pushes into a hole in a chassis rail or panel, holding a loom or hose against the frame instead of leaving it to hang. Ours are 7.6mm x 370mm black nylon 66, UV stabilised, with a 55kg breaking strain, sold in packs of 50.
Where they are used
They are a common fit on trucks, trailers and machinery, where wiring and hoses have to run along a chassis rail and survive vibration and road grime.
For car body panels with factory clip holes, see the Holden and Toyota sizes in push type zip ties. For a surface with no hole, use mountable zip ties. Standard ties in the same width are in 7.6mm black zip ties.
