19.1mm 3:1 dual wall heat shrink, sold by the metre at $14.00 and cut to the length you order. It shrinks to a third of its size, down to about 6.4mm, and the adhesive inner liner melts to seal the join against water.

Picking the size

Choose a diameter that slides over the widest part of the join. 19.1mm tubing passes over parts up to about 19.1mm across and grips wire down to about 6.4mm once shrunk. Smaller: 15mm. Larger: 25mm.

Shrink 19.1mm tubing from the middle out so air is pushed to the ends, and stop once a ring of adhesive shows at each end.
