Picking the size
Measure the outside of the hose where the clamp sits. If it reads 9 to 9mm, this clamp fits; right at 8 or 10mm, the next size down or up leaves more room to tighten. Smaller: 6 to 8mm. Larger: 10 to 12mm.
For general purpose and larger hoses, use German 304 stainless hose clamps.
