What they fit
Use them on 5mm wire for jobs such as:
- driving light and spotlight feeds
- camper, fridge and trailer power runs
- earth straps and heavier accessory leads
The 6.4mm tab size is the common spade size on automotive switches, relays, fuse holders and accessories.
How to fit them
- Crimp the 5mm wire into the yellow barrel.
- Push the terminal straight onto the 6.4mm tab until it grips.
- For a fully covered join, use a fully insulated female blade.
Use a ratchet crimping tool: it will not release until the crimp is complete, so every yellow 5mm join gets the same pressure. Where the join will see water, seal it with dual wall heat shrink.
