16mm Single Wall Heat Shrink Tubing (Per Metre)

16mm single wall heat shrink tubing, sold by the metre and cut to the length you order. Slide it over the join, heat it, and it shrinks down tight to insulate and protect the wire. At $2.50 a metre, it is the low-cost choice for dry, indoor and under-dash work.

What 16mm suits

Choose a diameter that slides over the widest part of the join. For a thinner join, use 14mm.

Single wall or dual wall?

Single wall tubing insulates and protects but does not seal. Where a join will see water, use 3:1 dual wall heat shrink: its adhesive liner melts to seal the join.
