9.5mm 3:1 Dual Wall Heat Shrink

9.5mm 3:1 dual wall heat shrink, sold by the metre at $7.50 and cut to the length you order. It shrinks to a third of its size, down to about 3.2mm, and the adhesive inner liner melts to seal the join against water.

What 9.5mm suits

• larger terminals and plugs
• small looms and multi-wire joins
• connector backs on trailer and marine wiring

Picking the size

Choose a diameter that slides over the widest part of the join. 9.5mm tubing passes over parts up to about 9.5mm across and grips wire down to about 3.2mm once shrunk. Smaller: 7.9mm. Larger: 12.7mm.

Shrink 9.5mm tubing from the middle out so air is pushed to the ends, and stop once a ring of adhesive shows at each end.
