Blue wire joiners for 4mm wire. They join two wires end to end inside one insulated barrel. Blue marks 4mm wire in our colour code, which covers medium-duty circuits.
What they fit
Use them on 4mm wire for jobs such as:
- horns and cooling fans
- fuel pump and relay wiring
- 12V sockets and accessory feeds
How to fit them
- Strip both wire ends.
- Push one wire into each end of the joiner and crimp both sides.
- Tug each wire to check the crimp holds.
Use a ratchet crimping tool: it will not release until the crimp is complete, so every blue 4mm join gets the same pressure. Where the join will see water, seal it with dual wall heat shrink.
