Blue heat shrink wire joiners for 4mm wire. They join two wires end to end, then seal the join with a heat shrink sleeve. Blue marks 4mm wire in our colour code, which covers medium-duty circuits.
What they fit
Use them on 4mm wire for jobs such as:
- horns and cooling fans
- fuel pump and relay wiring
- 12V sockets and accessory feeds
How to fit them
- Strip both wire ends and push one into each side.
- Crimp both sides of the blue barrel.
- Heat the sleeve evenly with a heat gun until it shrinks tight over the join.
Use a ratchet crimping tool: it will not release until the crimp is complete, so every blue 4mm join gets the same pressure.
